The history of our company

F.P.U.H. AKCES-PLAST is one of the leading Polish manufacturers of furniture accessories and technical components for the furniture industry. We have been supporting customers in creating beautiful and functional design for almost 40 years, using our knowledge and experience in plastics processing. The development of our machinery over the years, as well as our enormous experience in the design, manufacture of tools and manufacturing of the target product, enables us today to successfully provide plastic solutions for many areas of business.

We were born out of a need to create

We are a company with a many-year tradition in the plastics processing market. From the beginning in 1984, the most important objective was to provide innovative solutions for the furniture industry. The purchase of the first injection moulding machines provided the opportunity for independent series production and marked the beginning of specialisation in plastics processing.

A good observer improves reality

With the expert support of the friendly hardware store, we introduced the legendary plastic furniture latch customarily referred to as the ‘crampon’ into series production. This allowed us to substitute the old technology and at the same time revolutionised the furniture market and gave us the opportunity for dynamic growth. We were able to start expanding our portfolio with the first furniture handles and knobs.

Injection moulding and extrusion

Over the course of the company’s development, we have become an expert in the injection moulding process. We have increased our capabilities, tailoring our manufacturing technology to the most demanding customers. The implementation of extrusion technology became another milestone and was an important step in the area of expanding our offer for the furniture industry.

Looking confidently into the future

Through continuous development, we have become the partner of many well-known and highly-regarded companies, and our ultimate goal is to meet the expectations of designers in creating tailor-made solutions. Meanwhile, we are not stopping, planning further investments that will make us an even better supplier for many areas of business.
